THE PROMPT: (from be_themoon) A fantasy story centered around a tribe of female warriors.

Aftershocks

The small Tatenwa tribe has managed to subsist in the arid mountains of Amantic. They are lead by two queens, a hot-headed huntress and her younger half-sister. They are accompanied by the older queen’s twin cousins: a no nonsense, pragmatic young woman and her flightier sister; and younger queen’s caretakers: her stepmother and her blind-but-prophetic full sister. The remainder of the warriors composes of many of the queens’ relatives, along with a number of freed slaves who proved themselves as capable warriors.

Then, one day, the entire mountain region is rocked by an earthquake in a series of natural disasters that strike Amantic, completely wiping out neighboring tribes and leaving the Tatenwa fragmented. They, along with refugees from various surviving tribes, must learn how to survive in their changed world.

Please forgive me for sort of ripping off Avatar, and various other tribal-esque stories. This just...kind of happened.
